Los Angeles-born photographer, Micaela McLucas has created a significant body of work revolving around her journey through the human experience. Her work shows her passionate instinct for obstructing traditional ways of viewing, engaging with landscapes, portraiture and abstraction - all through a highly subversive lens.
Micaela’s practice was founded on her studies in Art and Philosophy at the Sorbonne, in Paris, and she has since been based in London developing a clear understanding of the advertising world and how that ties back and informs her art.
Micaela has exhibited internationally and her client list includes Adidas, BBC, L’Oréal, Marriott, Pepsi, Refinery29, Rolls Royce, and Warner Music. Her work has appeared in magazines including Condé Nast Traveller, i-D, Exit, Hunger, The Fall, Autre, and Office, among others.
